CASES REPORT OF NASOPALATINE DUCT CYST

Abstract
|
|
|
These are three case reports of the enucleations of the nasopalatine duct cysts developed in the anterior maxilla.
Patients had complained the swelling of anterior mid palate or labial side. In radiogaphic finndings, lesions are well-cirdumscribed round radiolucent shadows about 2.5 cm 3.0 cm in diameter in anterior mid palate.
Enucleations were performed.
In one case, the cyst was enucleated by a palatal flap.
The insertion of collagen matrix (Osteovitg) in the cystic cavity was followed by cystic enucleation. And primary closure was performed.
In two cases, the cysts were enucleated by a semilunar incision on the labial side. Apicoectomies were performed on teeth involved in the cystic cavity.
Histopathologic findings showed figures of a typical nasopalation duct cyst.
